Being in the centre of Crete the Villas are very well placed for excursions to many north and south coast beaches, such as Ag.Galini, Plakias, Triopetra, and other unspoiled beaches, the town of Rethymnon, the Amari Valley, Kotsifou and Kourtaliotiko Gorges. There are beautiful walks around Mourne and Spili and the area is well-known for its wildflowers in the spring.
